SALES & RETURNS

Conditions of sale:

Warranty & Returns 

  • All watches are genuine, we do not sell fake or counterfeit watches / jewellery. They are sold as accurately described and as photos show them in our advert.
  • We provide 180 days / 6 months warranty on timekeeping issues.
  • Watches are sold in perfect working condition unless otherwise stated in the advertisement. 
  • We will clean and polish the watch before we post it out, so it will have no major marks or scratches.
  • Our watchmaker check that it is in perfect working condition before we post it out.

 

Returns

  • For ALL UK and EU sales: BUY RISK FREE. 

    All buyers (from UK / EU) have 14 days from delivery to cancel a sale, notify us within 14 hours from you receive the item, and you can return the watch/item for a full refund or exchange.
    No questions asked. 

    (Buyer must pay return postage fees & sender postages fees will not be refunded - UK £15 International actual cost of shipping if DHL approx. £35 + 2% of value of item, if Royal Mail International £30)

    Goods must be returned within 14 days of receiving the goods. Including all paperwork and boxes provided, and must be returned with a safe and secure shipping method, must be able to track package online.
  • Buyer pays return shipping, unless item is not as described. This does include misinterpretation of the WATCH SIZE, wrist or/ and Case size, buyer pays return shipping in this case too.

    Please contact us to get return address details and confirmation in advance.

    Return cost will be paid by the buyer, approx. £15 for UK buyers and EU returns with courier approx. £35 + 2% of total value of item for insurance.

    In the case of missing paper-work, box or any physical damage on the item / official paper work, including any water damage ANY water-damage of the item / paper-work or any Original boxes, we reserve the right to give a partial refund based on the estimated cost of the damage.
  • Planetwatch should be contacted as soon as possible after delivery if item is not as described, either by e-mail or phone for after sales care and support 
  • For International orders within EU, where expedited Courier services has been used, such as Fedex, Parcelforce, UPS, DHL, or others, only delivery charges for Standard Internationally Delivery will be refunded, if item is as described. (This is approx. £15 for Royal Mail International Signed for)
  • Planetwatch must be contacted prior to returning any items, so we can authorize the return and provide return shipping address.
  • Condition of returnable item shall be as received, including ALL paperwork and box, and be returned undamaged.
  • International Sales (Outside EU):

    Full refund for item and shipping if item is not as described and shown in the photos. Please read the description carefully, returns will NOT be accepted if the reason you are returning the item was not disclosed to you in our description of the watch.
    Please contact us in advance for any questions.

    Misinterpretation of the watch size, either case size or / and wrist size, are not valid reasons to claim item is not as described.

  • For sales outside EU, returns only accepted when item is not as described.
  • Customs fees for return shipping of item may be withheld until item has been cleared for any customs charges involved with return shipment.

General information

  • We do disclose all that we know about our watches in the item description.
  • Please note all our merchandise is guaranteed original and authentic, the photos are of the actual items you are bidding on. (note that sometimes dials might have variations from the ones showing on the photos on some watches, however this will only be minor text differences on Rolex watches such as: T SWISS MADE T or SWISS or T SWISS T or other similar (micro writing on bottom of dial), this is because dials are interchangeable, otherwise the dials will have the exact same colour and style.
  • Boxes are all new and neutral, non branded, unless otherwise stated.
  • All watches are authenticated by a third party London jeweller, insurance valuation from this jeweller will be included with your purchase.
  • I reserve the right to cancel any bids, sales if a product has been listed at an incorrect price due to typographical, photographic or technical error. I shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for a product listed at the incorrect price. If amount is lower than stated I will change price and ship the item at lower amount. Equally if an item's correct price is higher than our stated price we will cancel your order and notify you on the price error and order cancellation. 
  • You will of course have an opportunity to purchase the item at the correct price.
    (This because typing errors do happen sometimes unfortunately)
  • Note the watches I sell are all original/authentic/genuine, and we are not affiliated with any brand names. All brand name watches offered by me are pre-owned. I am the sole warrantor of the watches being sold. I will provide you with an invoice as a proof of the sale and given warranty.
  • All winning bidders will be contacted within 48 hours, if winning bidder does not contact seller within 4 days from end of auction, seller will relist the item and can at own discretion declare the transaction as void.

IMPORTANT - Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by careless or incorrect use.
  • Breakage caused by accident, tampering and/or repairs attempted by unauthorized person. This will void the warranty.
  • Does not cover any kind of water damage.(We can have the watch checked and tested for you in advance, and if required re-sealed approx. £40 - £60 depending the model, however as the watch is second hand we do not provide warranty that covers any water damage, as this can happen during normal use, seals worn, or crown/buttons not properly closed etc., so impossible to know the real cause of water-damage, so we recommend always handle with care, and if any issues do not hesitate to contact us and we will help you to resolve any problems.
  • Watch band, glass or batteries
  • The warranty is void if the crystal is broken, or if the watch has any signs of water damage.

ANY WATCH SOLD ARE GUARANTEED GENUINE, WE DO NOT SELL COPY OR COUNTERFEIT WATCHES
